Rob Irvine is a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. Rob was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated from Ryerson University and worked for a family-owned zinc die casting company in northeastern Ontario. As a service engineer Rob traveled worldwide servicing equipment and commissioning new equipment. When he left the firm after 14 years he was General Manager of Tooling and Equipment. Don Leith recruited Rob to come work for him in Michigan. He moved his wife and two young daughters to Michigan in 2004 and began working for Don as a Mechanical Engineer. Rob and his family became US citizens in 2016.

Rob has designed and built each iteration of the NuShoulder® machine in close consultation with Dr. Cervone, both of whom are named on the patents.
